When 4:energy 2022 began to rapidly expand its PV portfolio, one thing was clear from the outset: professional monitoring was needed to meet the growing demands of modern, scalable operations management. Although basic monitoring solutions were in use - including several manufacturer portals and classic operator software - these only covered partial areas, offered hardly any automation and required a lot of manual work from the team. Error messages had to be analyzed and distributed individually, reports were compiled from various sources and there was no central overview of all systems. The aim for the operations manager with clear growth targets was to implement an operations management software solution that would create a scalable foundation for the company. This included automated ticketing, master data and centralized lifecycle files as well as data integrity and IT security to ensure smooth operations and scale efficiently.
